MULTIMEDIA COACH

Ron Jones began his television and multimedia career in 1988 while working as an officer and later Sergeant for the Oakland Police Department. Not only did he patrol the streets of Oakland but he was featured in cable television commercials related to crime prevention. He was then given the opportunity to write, produce, and host numerous crime prevention and public affairs shows for the City of Oakland.

After being inspired and mentored by a news reporter in the San Francisco Bay Area he left law enforcement and was offered his first television news reporter job with CBS Affiliate WDBJ in Roanoke Virginia. While there, he was quickly promoted to weekend news anchor and reporter. In 1996, his television talents brought him back to his northern California roots where he continued to work as a news anchor and reporter. During that time he has been nominated several times for an Emmy for his work as a television News Anchor.

His Media Ministry calling began that same year after joining Calvary Christian Center in Sacramento, California. Under the inspiration of his Pastor Dr. Phillip G. Goudeaux Ron created Crown Broadcasting and began producing faith based video content for churches, Christian television programming and teaching other ministries to so the same.

Ron is married to his high school sweetheart Tammy and they have four children and three grandchildren.
